About Gender Selection
Rooh Al-Hayat offers ethical gender selection services as part of advanced reproductive care. Using genetic testing methods such as PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy), we can identify the chromosomal sex of embryos before transfer. This allows intended parents to choose the desired gender in select cases where permitted by law and medical guidelines.
When Gender Selection May Be Considered
Family balancing
Avoidance of sex-linked genetic disorders
Parental psychological or cultural considerations
Combined with IVF and PGD/PGS testing
How It Works
Gender selection is performed during an IVF cycle. After fertilization, embryos are grown to the blastocyst stage, then biopsied for genetic testing. Only embryos of the chosen sex are selected for transfer into the uterus.
This process is highly accurate and safe for the embryo.
